General Questions

PUBGLooker is a specialized statistics tracker for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PC/Steam) with a core mission of providing absolute transparency and a persistent historical record. We focus on creating a definitive archive of the competitive FPP leaderboard, which includes tracking all bans and nickname changes permanently.

Yes, PUBGLooker is completely free for everyone. The project is supported by advertisements to cover its operational and development costs.

Currently, PUBGLooker is exclusively focused on the PC (Steam) version of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS for the European region. We do not track console or mobile statistics.

We are constantly working on new features. Our roadmap includes enhanced clan statistics, advanced match analysis tools, and potential expansion to other regions or game modes based on community feedback. We are committed to the long-term development of the platform.

Profile & Accounts

To claim your PUBG profile, you must log in to our website using your Steam account. Once authenticated, search for your player name. On your profile page, a "Claim Profile" button will be visible. Clicking this will link the PUBG profile to your Steam account, granting you access to edit your social links and bio.

Claiming your profile allows you to personalize it. You can add your social media links (Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, etc.), write a short bio, and set a custom background image. This turns your stats page into a personalized hub for your gaming identity.

If you believe your profile has been incorrectly claimed by another user, please go to our Contact Us page. Select the "Profile Claim / Dispute" reason from the dropdown menu, provide your PUBG username, and explain the situation. Our team will investigate the dispute.

These are special tags we assign to verified accounts to highlight their role in the community:
  • Partner: Official partners of the PUBGLooker project.
  • Esports: Verified professional players in the competitive scene.
  • Streamer: Recognized content creators who are part of our community program.

If you are a content creator or represent an organization and are interested in a partnership, please use our Contact Us page. Select the "Partnership Inquiry" reason and provide details about your channel or project. We are always open to collaborating with members of the PUBG community.

In line with our core mission of transparency, we do not offer an option to hide profiles or stats. All data presented on our site is public information sourced from the official game API and is intended to provide a complete and open record of the competitive landscape.

Data & Accuracy

All our data, including player statistics, match history, and ban status, is sourced directly from the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS API provided by KRAFTON, Inc. We then process and archive this data to provide historical tracking.

The main Top 500 leaderboard is updated automatically by our servers. For individual players, you can get the absolute latest data at any time by using the "Refresh" button on their profile page. This performs a live check with the game servers. To prevent abuse, this feature has a 5-minute cooldown per player.

The first step is to use the "Refresh" button on your profile page. This will pull the most recent data from the official API. If you believe there is still a discrepancy, it could be due to a delay in the API itself. We display the data exactly as we receive it from the game servers.

There can sometimes be minor discrepancies due to how the official API calculates and serves data versus how the in-game client displays it. For example, the API might aggregate data over a slightly different timeframe or round numbers differently. Our data is a direct reflection of what the official API provides to us at the time of the query.

This can happen for a few reasons:
  1. Typo: Please double-check the spelling of the username.
  2. Nickname Change: The player may have changed their nickname. Our system tracks changes, so try searching for a known previous name.
  3. Inactive Player: The player may not have played for a very long time, and their data might not be currently active in the API.

The official PUBG API only makes a player's most recent matches (typically from the last 14 days) available. We store the matches we find for active players, but unfortunately, we cannot access a player's entire match history from the beginning of their career.

Our system periodically checks players. When it retrieves data for a known player ID and the username is different from the one we have on record, our system automatically archives the old username in the "Nickname History" table along with a timestamp. This creates a reliable, automated record of all changes.

Reports & Bans

On every player's profile page, there is a "Report Player" button. You can use this to report suspected cheating or toxic behavior. Please provide a clear reason and, if possible, a link to video evidence (e.g., a Twitch clip or YouTube video) to support your claim. For in-game issues, always use the official in-game reporting tool as well.

When you submit a report on PUBGLooker, it enters our community watchlist system. It allows other users to see the report and add their own votes or evidence. While our reports do not go directly to KRAFTON, they help create a public record of suspicious activity and alert the community. For direct action, always report in-game.

This is a core feature. Official leaderboards remove banned players, hiding the true history. We believe in transparency, so we keep banned players listed, clearly marked. This provides a more accurate and honest picture of the competitive landscape.

The colors indicate the type of ban reported by the API:
  • Yellow Highlight: Indicates a `Temporary Ban`.
  • Red Highlight: Indicates a `Permanent Ban`.

If a player's ban is lifted, their status on our site will update to `Innocent` on the next data refresh. However, the original entry in the `ban_history` table will remain forever as a permanent record of the past infraction. We record history; we don't erase it.
